Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How long does my CPR Certification last?
A: 2 years
Q: What certification do Healthcare Providers need in New Jersey?
A: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Q: Can I do my BLS / CPR certification all online?
A: Most license governing agencies will require that you attend at least a 1 hour in-person skills session. Blended Learning options (online module + 1 hour in-person skills session) are available and accepted universally the same as a full in-person classroom course.
Q: Is First Aid included in my training?
A: Yes, for Heartsaver classes
Q: If i'm just renewing, do I have to take the full course again?
A: Yes, although, a blended learning option is available for both renewals & initial certifications, making this a popular, quicker option for those who are already familiar with the material and just need to renew.
Q: If I have a group that needs training, do we have to do an online part prior to class?
A: No, your group does not need to do an online portion as we will cover all necessary information and training topics in person together.
Q: Do I have to take a test?
A: The Basic Life Support classes will come with a 25 question quiz at the end of the class.
Q: Is my certification going to be accepted?
A: As long as you take the correct class for what your career requirements are, then yes, the American Heart Association certifications are accepted universally everywhere in the United States.
Q: Is there a minimum age to learn CPR?
A: Our classes are designed for those at least age 12 and up and/or physically able to practice the skills.
Q: Do you have individual enrollment classes?
