Service Description

The BLS Provider course is good for both renewals & new certifications, it is a blended learning format with an online module (small separate fee, required by the AHA, in addition to your 1 hr in-person skills session that you're booking today.) Students will be issued the same BLS Provider card as if they had taken the full classroom version of the course. This class is desirable because you're able to complete the majority of your learning online from home at your own pace prior to showing up for the short in-person skills/testing session that is required to complete your full certification. This class covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation AED. This course is for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and lifeguards who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a Healthcare Provider CPR course. Upon successful completion of the class, a 2 year American Heart Association digital certification in Basic Life Support CPR AED is provided the same day. The HeartCode online module must be completed prior to class, this can be purchased & completed here: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls.
